North Dakota driver dies in crash on ice-covered Interstate 94

KIDDER COUNTY, N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a Steele, North Dakota man died in a crash on I-94 early Sunday.

The crash happened 8 miles east of Tappen around 12:30 a.m.

Twenty year-old Brett Harr lost control of his pickup on the scattered ice-covered highway at an exit, rolled, and the truck ended up on its roof.

Harr wasn’t wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. He died at the scene.
