WATERTOWN, S.D.–Governor Kristi Noem does not get to choose which topics are chosen for summer studies by legislators between sessions, but she does have an opinion on the two that were chosen for study this year.
The first is county finances…..
The second study will address the issue of long term care in South Dakota. It comes amid several nursing home closures in recent years…
The summer studies will begin in June. Each committee is expected to meet around a half dozen times.
