PIERRE, S.D.–Governor Kristi Noem is asking the nine Native American tribes in South Dakota to work with the state in fighting crime and illegal drugs on their reservations.
At her weekly news conference, David Flute, Secretary of Tribal Relations, says illegal drugs are a growing problem…..

Noem says the agreements will respect tribal sovereignty while allowing state law enforcement to work with tribal police officers on the reservations.
