Noem stumps for new Ellsworth rec facility

BOX ELDER, S.D. – South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem was in Box Elder Wednesday to stump for $3.2 million she is asking for to build a new rec facility.

She says the new facility is needed if Ellsworth Air Force Base scores the new B-21 Raider. Noem spoke at the VRC Metal Systems building:

Construction on the Liberty Center in Box Elder could begin as soon as March 1, 2021, if state legislators approve the money for the project. The total cost of the project is $12.6 million.
