WATERTOWN, S.D.–Governor Kristi Noem says South Dakota is ending the year on solid financial ground.
She tells KWAT News state will end the year with more than $307 million in its budget reserves. It has maintained its Triple-A bond rating, and has one of the strongest state employee retirement system plans in the nation….
South Dakota has had a Triple-A bond rating for the past five fiscal years, and its retirement system has a funded status of more than 105-percent.
