PIERRE, S.D.–South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem has released a new public service announcement (PSA) on the COVID-19 vaccines.

The governor has never been a proponent of mandatory vaccinations, but in the PSA, she says it’s clear, based on the numbers, that those who are vaccinated stand a much better chance of staying out of the hospital….

The South Dakota Department of Health says there are more than 7,700 active cases of the virus in the state currently, and 203 people hospitalized with it.
