Noem orders State Capitol flags at half staff in memory of former Watertown legislator

PIERRE, S.D.–Governor Kristi Noem ordered that flags be flown at half-staff at the State Capitol from sunrise until sunset on Monday in honor of former state legislator Claire Konold.
He represented Codington County in the South Dakota State House of Representatives from 1997-2004.
Funeral services will take place at 11:00 am Monday at Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Watertown.
Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery at Clear Lake.
Konold was 86 years old.
