Noem makes stop in Huron to talk about proposed State Fair Beef Complex

HURON, S.D. (Performance Radio) — South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem made a stop in Huron last week to stump for her proposed $19 million dollar State Fair Beef Complex.  She talked about the proposal at the Nordby Exhibit hall.

Noem talked about what the new facility could look like.

She explains how they came up with the 19 million dollar figure for the complex.

The legislature will deal with the Proposal along with the 2022 fiscal year budget in March. If plans fall into place, a new 200,000 square foot livestock complex could be part of the 2022 South Dakota State Fair  The former building was destroyed by fire on October 31, 2020.
