Noem announces two more legislative appointments
PIERRE, S.D. (AP)–Governor Kristi Noem has made two more appointments to the South Dakota Legislature.
She tapped Representative Kyle Schoenfish of Scotland for a Senate seat and named Marty Overweg of New Holland to fill Schoenfish’s seat in the House.
Schoenfish fills the Senate vacancy left by Stace Nelson’s resignation.
The 2020 legislative session starts next week.
