PIERRE, S.D.–Governor Kristi Noem is supporting a plan to sell a couple of airplanes in the state government fleet and replace them by purchasing one newer model.
But at her weekly press conference today, she said that recommendation, although she supports it, did not come from her…
She also addressed a bill that has been defeated in committee in Pierre that would have required her office to give a detailed report every three months on how she’s using planes owned by state government.
It comes amid allegations that she’s been using them to campaign for other political candidates, which is not official state business.
She says those allegations are simply not true…
The governor also was asked about the nation’s power grid in the wake of those rolling blackouts that occurred across the nation’s mid-section this week in the midst of brutally cold weather, which drove up energy demand…
