WATERTOWN, S.D.—It’s nothing to be alarmed about, but it is an indicator of what lies ahead.

The National Weather Service has inserted the word “snow” into the forecast for northeastern South Dakota this weekend.

Forecaster Mike Connolly says we could see a few stray snowflakes this weekend, but the better chance of snow will arrive early next week…
