No let up in ground blizzard conditions yet!  (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Ground blizzard conditions have essentially shut down travel across most of South Dakota.

Northwest winds have been whipping up the snow and creating whiteout conditions across the state, and National Weather Service forecaster Renee Wise says we’ll see more of the same today, and even into Saturday…

Wise says by the time we get to Christmas Day on Sunday, we’ll see more snow…

As are as wind chill values go, Wise tells us…

All of eastern South Dakota remains in a Blizzard Warning until 6 a.m. Saturday. There’s also a Wind Chill Warning until noon Saturday.
