NEW: Zales Jewelry in Watertown Mall to close this month

WATERTOWN, S.D.—Another business will soon be vacating the Watertown Mall.
A spokesman for Signet Jewelers, the parent company of Zales, Kay and Jared Jewelry stores, has confirmed with KWAT News the Zales location in the Watertown Mall will close December 24th.
Signet spokesman David Bouffard says, “the referral store is Zales Empire Mall in Sioux Falls, where they will continue to honor customers’ warranties and guarantees, and continue to assist with all of their jewelry needs.”
Last week, Gamestop in Watertown announced it will be going out of business. Their last day of operations will be January 26th.
Maple Street Diner in downtown Watertown will be closing too. They recently announced they’ll serve their last meal December 20th after more than 13 years in business.
