NEW: Watertown woman killed in crash in southeastern North Dakota

EDGELEY, N.D.—KWAT News has learned a Watertown woman has died in a side impact collision at an intersection in southeastern North Dakota.
Highway Patrol Sergeant Ben Kennelly the crash happened at 4:30 Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of U.S. Highway 281 and North Dakota Highway 13 in Edgeley.
Sixty three year-old Paula Thovson of Watertown collided with a gooseneck trailer being pulled by the pickup.
Thovson was airlifted to Avera Hospital in Aberdeen and died that evening.
The driver of the pickup, forty year-old Dean Johs of Napoleon, North Dakota, was taken to a hospital in Wishek, North Dakota where he was treated and released.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts.
The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
