WATERTOWN, S.D.–A Watertown man was arrested Wednesday morning after police executed a search warrant that yielded several controlled substances.

Police Sergeant Trevor Barthel says the search warrant, which was a joint operation between Watertown police, the Codington County Sheriff’s Office and South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, was executed at a residence in the 100-block of 8th Avenue Southeast in Watertown around 9:30 a.m.

Thirty two year-old Cody Weathermon of Watertown was in the residence at the time.

During the search, authorities found meth, cocaine and steroids.

Weathermon was arrested on eight counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

He’s being held in the Codington County Jail on $7,500 bond.

Barthel says the investigation is ongoing, and additional charges are pending.
