FARGO, N.D.—Some drivers were caught off-guard when slippery driving conditions quickly developed in the Fargo-Moorhead area this morning.

Several drivers lost control on Interstates 29 and 94 in Fargo and West Fargo. Bridge decks were especially slick.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol responded to 14 crashes, some with injuries.

An ambulance from Grant-Roberts Ambulance Service in Sisseton rolled onto its side on Veteran’s Boulevard on I-94 around 7:30 this morning.

Three ambulance service employees and a patient were taken to a Fargo hospital.

There’s no word on the extent of their injuries.
