NEW: Man killed in UTV crash east of Milbank

MILBANK, S.D. – One person died and another was injured Sunday morning in an UTV crash four miles east of Milbank.
Preliminary crash information indicates that a Polaris UTV was eastbound on 148th Street around 2:00 a.m. when the driver lost control while making a left-hand turn onto 483rd Avenue.
The vehicle rolled into the east ditch and both occupants were thrown from the UTV.
A 43 year-old man was dead at the scene. The other occupant, a 36-year-old male, suffered minor injuries and was transported to the Milbank hospital.
Names of those involved have not been released.
