NEW: Gary, South Dakota man killed in collision of semis in Lac Qui Parle County

DAWSON, Minn.–A Gary, South Dakota man has died in a semi crash in western Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 68 year-old Steven Michael Schanning was killed when the semi he was driving collided with another semi at the intersection of U.S. Highway 75 and 180th Street, west of Dawson, Minnesota.
The second semi was driven by Jonathan Edward Kallemeyn of Lake Benton, Minnesota. He had minor injuries and was not transported for treatment.
The crash was reported just after 10:30 Sunday night.
