NEW: Florence School Board chooses to end athletics co-op agreement with Henry

FLORENCE, S.D.–On a split vote of 3-2 Monday, the Florence School Board opted to end their athletic co-op agreement with neighboring Henry.
Florence Superintendent Mitch Reed tells KWAT News ending the agreement will affect all sports teams at the end of the current school year.
Florence has co-op’d with Henry in football since 1984, and in all other sports since the 2008-2009 school year.
Florence-Henry teams have been known as the, “Falcons.”
Reed will join KWAT’s “What’s Up” program at 8:15 Wednesday morning to discuss this topic.
