NAIA Track and Field Championships moves to Yankton in 2021

YANKTON, S.D. (WNAX) — The 2021 NAIA National Indoor Track & Field Championships will be held in Yankton at the Ruth Donohoe First Dakota
Fieldhouse at Mount Marty University.

The meet has been held at the Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Facility the last two years, but due to Covid-19, that facility is available. The meet is hosted by Dakota State University and Athletic Director Jeff Dittman says they are happy to be able to move to Yankton

Great Plains Athletic Conference Commissioner Corey Westra says they want a safe venue for their athletes

Mount Marty Athletic Director Chris Kassin (cass-in) says they want to make it a success

The meet is scheduled for March third through the sixth.
