Motorcyclist seriously injured in Watertown crash

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown police say charges are pending in a weekend accident involving an SUV and a motorcycle.

It happened in the 2600-block of 9th Avenue Southeast (Highway 212)  in Watertown when the SUV driven by a 30 year-old Watertown woman collided with the motorcycle driven by a 74 year-old man from Aberdeen.

The driver and passenger on the motorcycle were both thrown from the bike. Both were taken to Prairie Lakes Hospital.

The driver of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries. His passenger was treated for her injuries and released.

The driver of the SUV was not injured. 

No names have been released.
