MONDAY UPDATE: Thirty seven new cases of COVID-19 in South Dakota, death toll unchanged

PIERRE, S.D.—South Dakota is reporting 37 new cases of the COVID-19 virus today (Monday).

That brings the overall state total to 2,668. Of that number, 1,830, or 68-percent, have recovered.

There are 817 active cases of the virus in the state. Sixty-nine people are currently hospitalized, and the death toll from COVID-19 remains unchanged for a third straight day, at 21.

Codington County added one case, its 15th overall. There are two active cases in the county.
