Minnesota medical cannabis program adding flower and buds

February 3, 2022

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Medical cannabis patients in Minnesota will be able to smoke, vaporize, or cook raw flower and buds beginning next month.

State health officials are recommending registered patients contact their dispensary pharmacist now to get pre-approved for dry flowers and pre-rolled joints before March 1. Patients can get up to a 90-day supply of smokable cannabis of various strains and T-H-C levels.

The Minnesota Department of Health expects patient enrollment to double or triple with the changes.
