PIPESTONE, Minn.–The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating a shooting in Pipestone County that left a Clear Lake man dead.

Deputies with the Pipestone County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched last Tuesday to a report of a man who’d been shot in rural Pipestone County.

When deputies arrived, they found 68 year-old Stephen Giese dead.

The BCA sent its mobile crime lab to process the crime scene.

Authorities have not released details surrounding the shooting, but they say there is no threat to the general public.
