MBB: Bison Outlast Denver

FARGO, N.D. (GoBison.com) – The North Dakota State men’s basketball team improved to 6-1 in Summit League play with a 70-58 victory over Denver on Friday night inside the Scheels Center.

Bison senior Rocky Kreuser recorded his fourth double-double in the past five games, finishing with 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead all players in both categories.

NDSU had three more players score in double figures, with Jarius Cook at 16, Sam Griesel at 13, and Tyree Eady at 10. Eady nearly registered his second straight double-double, finishing with nine rebounds.

The North Dakota State men’s basketball team rode hot shooting and stingy defense to an 84-58 rout of Denver on Saturday night inside the Scheels Center. The Bison improved to 7-1 in Summit League play.

The Bison once again put together a balanced scoring attack, with five players in double figures. Senior forward Rocky Kreuser finished with 17 points to lead all players, and junior Tyree Eady added 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting. Jarius Cook had 14, Jaxon Knotek scored 12, and Grant Nelson had 11 for NDSU.

NDSU shot a season-high 62 percent for the game while limiting the Pioneers to 41-percent shooting. The Bison drained 9-of-18 from three-point range.
