WATERTOWN, S.D.–An item that was on Monday night’s Watertown City Council agenda by Mayor Sarah Caron to ratify LGBTQ liaison appointments was tabled.
One of those proposed appointees by the mayor is Brett Ries (pictured), a one time state legislative candidate and college student from Watertown…..
Councilman Ried Holien protested the fact the mayor allowed Ries to speak, even after the council voted to table the issue…
The liaison appointments and discussion on amending Watertown’s fair housing ordinance will be brought up again at a future meeting.
