Man killed when pickup crashes south of Cavour

CAVOUR, S.D.–No names released yet in a deadly crash that occurred early Friday morning, four miles south of Cavour, South Dakota.

A pickup was southbound when the driver lost control on ice.

The pickup went into a ditch and rolled before coming to rest in standing water in the ditch.

The driver was not injured, but a 37 year-old male passenger was killed.

Another passenger received minor injuries and was treated at the Huron Hospital.
