Man killed in rollover crash west of Hoven

HOVEN, S.D.–One person was killed Thursday afternoon in a single vehicle crash five miles west of Hoven in Walworth County.
The Highway Patrol says a car was southbound on South Dakota Highway 47 when the driver lost control. The car hit a gravel field approach and then rolled.
A 23 year-old man who was not buckled up was thrown from the vehicle and was dead at the scene.
The other occupant, a 23 year-old female, had minor injuries.
The Highway Patrol did not identify which of the two occupants was at the wheel at the time of the crash.
