Man killed in pickup crash on Interstate 90 near Kimball

KIMBALL, S.D. – An 84-year-old man died Thursday morning in a one-vehicle crash two miles west of Kimball.

The name of the deceased is not yet being released pending notification of family members. He was the only person involved.

A 2004 Dodge Dakota pickup was eastbound on Interstate 90 when it went into the south ditch. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was thrown from the vehicle. He was later pronounced dead at the Chamberlain hospital.
