Man killed in North Dakota farm accident

WIMBLEDON, ND (KFGO) – A man has died in a farm accident in Barnes County near Wimbledon, North Dakota. It happened Tuesday afternoon.
Sheriff Randy McClaflin says a chain and a tow rope broke as two people were trying to pull a tractor that was stuck in a field. The man who was struck by the chain and tow rope died at the scene.
The victim’s name has not been released.
