Man killed in ATV crash in west-central Minnesota

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Minn.– A man died in an ATV crash in Douglas County, Minnesota Sunday evening.
The Sheriff’s Office received a report of a crash shortly before 8 p.m.and found a single ATV that had rolled over. The driver was unconscious and injured. Despite life-saving measures, 48-year-old Todd Mrnak of Miltona died at the scene.
Authorities believe that the ATV tried to make a right turn into a field, flipped over, and Mrnak was thrown from the vehicle. He was the only rider and was not wearing a helmet.
The crash happened about 20 miles northeast of Alexandria.
