Man dies in fall at Hazel Elevator

HAZEL, S.D.–A 50 year-old man died last week after falling about 50 feet while working at the elevator in Hazel.
The Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office says the man was dead at the scene.
He was working for a construction company on a grain bin when his equipment failed.
It happened Friday morning at 10:50 a.m.
The name of the man was not immediately released.
