Man arrested for starting Sioux Falls house fire

SIOUX FALLS, S.D.–The Sioux Falls Police Department has arrested a man who they say started a house fire on Tuesday afternoon.
Crews arrived on scene and found smoke coming from broken windows on the main floor of the house.
Firefighters found fire in the living room on the ground floor. Crews made entry on the first, second, and basement floors of the home and searched the house for any people.
While investigating the fire in the 4000 block of Yellowstone Lane, officers learned a man inside the home started the fire.
David John Kiesner of Sioux Falls was arrested for reckless burning and was taken to jail after being treated for minor injuries from the fire.
