Mack: City of Watertown looking to sell Showmobile through sealed bid process (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–A ribbon cutting on Watertown’s newest park, Community Foundation Plaza, will be held next Thursday, May 25th.
The park includes a covered, raised stage that will be used for events like Thursday Night Live, which means the portable stage the city has been using, called the showmobile, will no longer be needed.

Councilman Mike Danforth had questions about selling the showmobile, and what that would mean for some other Watertown events…..
Parks and Recreation Director Dusty Rodiek talked about the decision to sell it….
The authorized the city to declare the showmobile as surplus and advertise for sealed bids.
