Longtime educator Darrell Stacey retiring as Watertown School District Assistant Superintendent

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown School District Assistant Superintendent Darrell Stacey will be retiring this summer after a long career in education.

Stacey has been Watertown’s assistant superintendent for the past 12 years.

Before that, he served a combined 13 years as principal of Watertown’s Roosevelt and McKinely Elementary Schools. 

He’s also a one-time principal in the Webster School District, and taught and coached at Kadoka and Lake Benton, Minnesota.

The Madison, South Dakota native will call it a career on June 30th.
