Local lawmakers weigh in on potential impeachment of attorney general (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–The South Dakota House meets next week to take up the majority recommendation of a special committee that has said Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg should NOT be impeached for his role in a crash near Highmore a year-and-a-half ago that killed a pedestrian.

State Senator Lee Schoenbeck of Watertown is an attorney, and has been talking to his colleagues about not tipping their hand on how they’ll vote IF impeachment proceedings make their way to the Senate…

The House votes on the committee’s impeachment recommendation Tuesday.
