DeSMET, S.D.–This will be a big weekend in DeSmet, as the Laura Ingalls Wilder Pageant celebrates 50 years.
Two stars of the show will be in DeSmet to mark the occasion.
Alison Arngrim played Nellie Oleson and Dean Butler played the role of Almanzo Wilder.
Arngrim appeared on 104 episodes from 1974 to 1982, beginning when she was 12 years old.
Butler appeared in 65 espisodes in seasons six thru nine, from 1979 to 1983.
KWAT News spoke with both of them as they reminisced about the television series, and their trip to DeSmet this weekend.
