WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown has a new city attorney, at least on an interim basis.

On Tuesday night, the city council voted to approve Lisa Carrico of the Carrico Law Firm to take over the duties of Matt Roby, who resigned at the end of August.

City Manager Amanda Mack was asked how long Carrico might have the “interim” tag…..

Carrico has been down this road before, having served as Watertown’s interim city attorney once before…..

Under the agreement, the city will pay Carrico a monthly fee of $9,500 for her services.
