WATERTOWN, S.D.–Travel conditions could be impacted late Tuesday afternoon into Tuesday night by a weather system that’ll move into the region.

National Weather Service forecaster Ryan Leake says the heaviest snow amounts–up to a couple of inches–could fall across the northern tier of counties in northeast South Dakota…

On the back side of this weather system will be another blast of arctic air…

The Watertown area is under a Winter Weather Advisory from 3 o’clock this afternoon until midnight tonight.

Then a Wind Chill Advisory will be in effect from midnight until noon Wednesday, with wind chill values as cold as 30 below zero.
