Legal Advice Without the Price – March 19, 2020

Here is the Legal Advice Without the Price question for Tuesday, March 10, 2020

Dear Ron,
I have been divorced for about five years and have two kids with my ex-husband who lives in Florida. When the school shut down, he claimed he was entitled to see the children while they were off of school. Our decree says that he shall have visitation on any extended time off from school. I am really scared about the coronavirus and feel that the children are safe here in northeastern South Dakota where it there has not been a reported case of coronavirus. Am I violating the visitation agreement and will I be held in contempt of court?

Hear Ron’s answer below.
