Legal Advice Without The Price – April 2, 2020

Here is the Legal Advice Without the Price question for Thursday, April 2, 2020

Dear Ron,
I was recently investigated for possession and sale of drugs. The police did not read me my Miranda Rights and nicely coerced me to talk saying at one point that I did not need an attorney. I told them I did possess my attorney said I cannot claim a Miranda violation because I was not being interrogated. What is going on? Isn’t this an obvious Miranda violation?

Hear Ron’s answer below.
