Lease agreement for restaurant in Watertown’s new airport terminal being discussed tonight

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Watertown’s new airport terminal will open up next summer, and when it does, it’s expected to include a small restaurant.
Tonight, the city council will vote on a resolution to enter into a lease agreement with The Crown Corportation, doing business as Danger von Dempsey’s Slice House, to rent a portion of floor space in the new terminal.
Dempsey’s plans to offer a limited number of menu items at the airport, most notably pizza by the slice, along with appetizers and beverages.
If the council approves the lease agreement tonight, a public hearing on the plan will be held at the September 7th council meeting.
