LATI using internet technology to finish out the school year (Audio)

WATERTOWN, S.D.–Many changes have taken place at Lake Area Tech in recent weeks to adapt to the coronavirus pandemic, and the restrictions it’s placing on society.

The campus is closed to the public, and all learning is being done online for the rest of the semester.

LATI President Mike Cartney says with technology, they’ll be able to finish out the year so graduates can still get their degrees…….

And speaking of the internet, LATI will be offering a new app for student meals, and more access for people who need to get things done online….

No announcement has been made yet on when, or how, the LATI Class of 2020 will be recognized at commencement ceremonies.

That had been scheduled for May 8th.
