WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Watertown Laker girls and boys would split their games during Stick it to Cancer Weekend at the Maas.

The Laker girls downed Oahae 4-2 to open play on Saturday. Jayda Kranz led the scoring attack with two goals and one assist.  Jaclyn Lloyd added one goal and three assists, Janel Lloyd tallied one goal and one assist.  Emma Foisel stopped 14 of 16 shots on goal.  Watertown outshot Oahe in the contest 39-16.

The Laker guys would end the weekend with a 9-1 loss to Brookings.  Austin Green be the lone Laker to score a goal. Owen McBridge would stop 50 of 59 shots on goal.  The Rangers would outshoot Watertown 59-16.

Laker guys fall to 3-8 and travel to Rapid City to face Rushmore February 6th and 7th.  The Laker girls improve to 4-7-1) and face Yankton at home on February 13th and travel to Mitchell on February 14th.
