Lakers split games at Oahe

PIERRE, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — Watertown Laker Hockey would split their games at Oahe on Saturday.
The Laker guys would fall 9-2. Thomas Foley and Austin McBride would score both the Watertown goals. Blair Boomsma added two assists. Owen McBride stopped 55 of 64 shots on goal.
The Laker guys will come home to face Yankton on February 12th for a 5:30 p.m. puck drop.
The Laker girls would score two in the third to send them past Oahe 5-4. Jaclyn Lloyd would notch four of the five goals. Sister Janel added the fifth Laker goal. Cate Hoilen would notch the assist. Angelyn Birnell stopped 23 of 27 shots on goal.
The Watertown girls will travel to Brookings on February 11th at 8 p.m. and come home to face Yankton February 12th at 8 p.m.
