WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — A six-goal first period was too much for Watertown to overcome in Aberdeen’s 9-0 shutout of the Lakers on Friday night.

Watertown was outshot in the contest 31-12.

The Lakers would bounce back with a 6-2 win at Mitchell on Saturday.

Austin Green and Blair Boomsma would each knock throw two goals and notch one assist, Thomas Foley and Mason Thompson each added one goal.  Austin McBride tallied two assists.  Owen McBride stopped 35 of 37 shots on goal.

The Lakers wrap up their regular season at home against Sioux Falls 2 on Friday and Huron Saturday.
