WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — After the home doubleheader vs Mitchell was postponed on Saturday, the Watertown Laker girls got one game in this weekend falling to the Sioux Center Storm, 4-3.

Maddilyn Steen, Jaclyn Lloyd and Janel Lloyd all scored goals in the game.  Janel Lloyd also tallied an assist.

Sydnie Young stopped 42 of 38 shots on goal.  Watertown only managed 9 shots on goal in the game.

The Lakers (0-1) are home for two games next weekend as Brookings (Saturday 8:30 p.m.) and Huron (Sunday 1:30 p.m.) come to town.
