Lakers earn split of weekend games

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Watertown Laker boys squad would come away victorious against Yantkon Saturday night 4-3.

Mason Evans would lead the charge as he would rack up three goals. Kyler Kranz would also add a goal in the contest. Mason Lloyd, Parker Sheehan, Conner Bramer and Jacob Van Dusseldorp would all tally assists.

Owen McBride would stop 17 of 20 shots on goal. The Lakers would outshoot the Bucks in the contest 39-20.

On Sunday, Watertown would fall to Sioux Falls One by a final of 5-2.

Mason Evans would put both goals through the next for the Lakers.

Mason Lloyd and Brayson Bohling would each add an assist. Owen McBride would stop 32 of 37 shots between the net.

The Flyers would out shoot the Lakers in the contest 37-25.

Watertown (4-5-1) travels to Mitchell on Friday and comes home to face Sioux Center on Saturday.
