Laker guys and gals down Oahe

WATERTOWN, S.D. (GoWatertown.net) — The Watertown Laker guys and gals would come away with two weekend wins vs Oahe at Maas Arena. 

On Saturday the guys would beat the Capitals by a final of 6-4.  Conner Bramer would tally 2 goals and three assists in the contest. Austin Green would add one goal and three assists.  Jacob Van Dusseldorp, Jared Slobotski and Mason Evans would each tally one goal a piece.  

Owen McBride would stop 38 of 42 shots on goal.  Oahe would out-shoot Watertown in the contest 42-23.  

On Sunday the Laker girls would come away with a 4-1 victory over Oahe.  Jaclyn Lloyd would score all four of the Laker goals. Janel Lloyd, Jillian Busch and Sophie Krueger would each tally an assist.  

Sydnie Young would stop 26 of 27 shots in net.  The Laker gals would outshoot the Capitals in the contest 34-27.

The Lakers (3-4-1) come home to face Yankton on Saturday and travel to Sioux Falls One on Sunday.  8:30 p.m. puck drop on Saturday and 1:45 p.m. on Sunday.

The Laker girls (3-5) face Sioux Falls on Friday at 8 p.m. at Maas and travel to Sioux Center on Saturday for a 3:45 p.m. contest.
