LaBolt woman killed in weekend crash in Minnesota

WILLMAR, Minn.–A LaBolt woman was killed in a weekend traffic accident west of Willmar, Minnesota.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 56 year-old Sharon Beth Berglund died at the scene of the crash at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 40 and Kandiyohi County Road 7.
She was a passenger in a 2008 Mercury Mountaineer that collided with a 2019 Kenworth semi.
The Mountaineer was driven by 62 year-old Daniel Scott Berglund of LaBolt. He was injured and taken to Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
The semi was driven by 40 year-old Korey Walter Cox of York, Alabama. He was not injured.
The crash was reported just after 10 o’clock Saturday morning.
Responding agencies included the State Patrol, Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, Pennock Fire Department, Willmar Ambulance, Minnesota DOT and the Minnesota DNR.
